Scholarships

Undergraduate students in Horticulture at Virginia Tech receive over $90,000 in scholarship funds each year from generous donors and organizations. Many of these scholarships are endowed by Horticulture friends and alumni to support undergraduates in their pursuit of a career in Horticulture. In addition, Horticulture students are eligible for a host of scholarships from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. There are scholarships available for both new and advanced students. Many are specifically for students with particular career goals or from particular regions of the state. All students who would benefit from scholarship assistance are encouraged to see Donna Long in 301 Saunders Hall for more information.

How to Apply

Applications are typically accepted in March of each year. Download the current Scholarship Application Form (Word/PDF) and submit it to Donna Long in 301 Saunders by April 1st for consideration for the following academic year.
