Canada/Mexico! A full semester of coursework abroad means no delay of
your graduation date! Preparation for travel does takes some time, so
apply early!

Virginia Tech is a participant in the North American Mobility Program in Higher Education funded by a grant from the US Department of Agriculture. The title of the Virginia Tech project is Rural Sustainability in Agriculture and Aquaculture. The program is centered around undergraduate student exchanges with cooperating institutions in Mexico, Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC) http://www.uabc.mx/ and Instituto Tecnológico Agriopecuario de Oaxaca (ITAO) and in Canada, Nova Scotia Agriculture College (NSAC) www.nsac.ns.ca and Marine Institute (MI) of Memorial University of Newfoundland http://www.mi.mun.ca/. Student participants will be selected on a competitive basis. Undergraduate and graduate students may participate from any major, but they must have interest in Rural Sustainability in Agriculture or Aquaculture. Student travel and living expenses will be paid from the grant. Students will pay tuition and related mandatory fees (e.g. student union, recreation and athletic, library, information technology, registration, etc.) to Virginia Tech during the exchange. Exchange students will receive class credit from their home institution as per sending credit transfer regulations for courses taken at the receiving institution. |
