What year did you graduate from the Master Gardener training class?
1985.

When did you first find out you were interested in gardening?
“My parents gardened—I hated it at first. Also, my landlord had a garden and got me interested.”

What has been your greatest accomplishment as a Master Gardener?
“Talking with garden clubs and hearing what they have to say…”

What type of projects have you invested most of your time in?
“Speakers Bureau, veggie and container gardening, spent a lot of time with flower gardens, and I also did an Associates Degree.”

What is your favorite aspect of the MG program?
“People working together to make things better and using the knowledge to improve lives of people in community.”

What area of gardening would you say you’re most experienced in?
“Ornamental gardening, flower beds, and houseplants.”

What advice would you give to new gardeners?
“Go for it!!! Read a lot, do what you like to do.”

Anything else you would like add?
“It’s a great program!!”
