How did you first find your interest in gardening?
"We had four children in our family, so that was our method of feeding them. My husband is a gardener too; he's a Master Gardener, so the two of us garden together."

What has been your greatest accomplishment as a Master Gardener?
"I was the coordinator of five counties for seven years."

What type of projects have you invested most of your time in?
"Teaching others, and we also teach 4-H summer camp."

What year did you graduate from the Master Gardener training class?
"1993."

What is your favorite aspect of the Master Gardener program?
"Working together."

In what area of gardening would you say you're most experienced in?
"Perennials."

What advice would you give to new gardeners?
"Ask lots of questions of the people around you."
