Green Club is an opportunity to help out at Harding Avenue Elementary School, teaching students there about horticulture. Green Club runs on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00 PM, and will start Feb 7th. Meet in Saunders parking lot. For more information or to sign up, contact Barbara Kraft at bkraft@vt.edu
Our first meeting of the year will be February 1st at 6:00 PM in the Greenhouse classroom. See you there!
Upcoming Events
The Spring Banquet will be on April 6th, from 6:00-10:00 PM at the German Club Manor. The cost is $15 for faculty/staff and $20 for guests. To book reservations, contact Brittaney Nelson at bnelaine@vt.edu . The reservation deadline is March 20th.
PLANET will be March 22-25, 2012 at the Kansas State Universtity in Manhattan, Kansas. Be sure to mark your calendar!
Plant Sale
The Plant Sale is *the* ultimate event of the Horticulture Club. Our biggest fund-raiser, it is a three-day sale of hundreds of ornamentals, fruits, and vegetables, and is what funds the club for the whole year. Keep an eye on the listserv for when we announce the date.
