The Department of Horticulture at Virginia Tech seeks qualified and motivated applicants pursuing PhD in the field of Ornamental Plant Breeding. The selected candidate is expected to develop innovative breeding research utilizing conventional, and/or in-vitro approaches. The assistantship is available for the fall of 2008. Screening will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
