Dr. Scoggins is the Director of the Hahn Horticulture Garden, a 6-acre teaching and display garden on the campus of Virginia Tech.  She teaches courses in floriculture crops production, herbaceous landscape plants, greenhouse management, and public gardens maintenance and management. Her research interests include improving greenhouse and nursery production systems for herbaceous perennials with an emphasis on mineral nutrition and rhizosphere management.
