Robert McDuffie is a landscape architect whose primary focus is on small scale landscape design and contracting. He teaches classes in landscape design, construction, history, and computer applications. He also directs a study abroad program in the department for university and continuing education students. He conducts workshops and presentations on a wide range of subjects pertaining to landscape design. His scholarly activities center around the use of computer technologies to enhance communication in the area of design, particularly in the application of QuickTime VR panoramas to document historic landscapes and gardens. As a landscape architect, Mr. McDuffie specializes in the design of public and private gardens for individuals and institutions.
