The garden provides ample opportunities to achieve
Math SOLs . Learning to correctly space plants and seeds
allows children to practice measuring techniques. Weather observations like daily temperature readings and rain
gauge observations can be used to find means, medians and modes. Designing a garden (planning and planting), gives
