Josh Freeman, Assistant Professor Dr. Freeman has a split appointment between research and extension and works in the area of vegetable cropping systems. His research focuses on increasing the efficiency and productivity of vegetable crops. Most of Dr. Freeman's work is done on tomato, potato and fresh market beans however, he covers other crops that are important in the state and region. He also works closely with pathology and entomology faculty to develop integrated and sustainable management strategies for insect and disease pests in vegetables. Dr. Freeman received a B.S. from Clemson University and a Ph.D. from the University of Florida.
