The Department of Horticulture, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia is seeking a highly qualified and motivated graduate student at the Master’s or Ph.D. level. This position is available for graduate study in one of the following or related areas: molecular biology, ornamental plant breeding, biofuels, pomology, or sustainable urban landscapes. Highly qualified applicants with excellent academic records and high verbal and quantitative GRE scores are encouraged to apply.
The Department of Horticulture resides in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Virginia Tech, one of the top-rated agriculture colleges in the United States.
